Colour and sight: Dark brown-red. A compact white-yellow, stable and lacing head. Scent: Touches of caramel, mocha and chocolate. Spices such as liquorice and coriander are also present. Flavour: Initially, a very good mouthfeel of alcohol and softness. This is followed by an increasing bitterness, partially from the hop, but also from the roasted malt and chocolate malt. Towards the end a nice balance between bitterness, sour and sweet.

A very brown beer, in every way
A cousin to Delirium Argentum, which I simply can't rate highly enough, I can only describe this as incredibly brown. It smells brown, it tastes brown, and even the mouthfeel I would describe as - brown. Sheer comfort-food, a most beautiful (and brown) drinking experience.
Just want to emphasise that this really stands out from the EXPERIENCE of drinking it. Definitely a comforting friend on a dark winter evening.

Best enjoyed hoovered through a trunk.
The unique opaque bottle hides lush, dark red/brown brew with a firm, compact head. Rich and sweet on the nose with a touch of caramel.
Good initial mouthfeel, smooth, soft and without any overpowering warmth from the ABV. Sweet malty flavours prevail early, before a more balanced bitterness comes through, with the leanness of black coffee.

More bitter, lighter than Kwak/Aventinus Eisbock/many quadruppels
As per the title, lighter and more bitter than Kwak, La Trappe Quadruppel, Chimay Blue, or Rochefort 10. But then, i have 3 equals in my medium sized coffee. So others probably will find this refreshing and crisp. Just not my cuppa tea. But a nevertheless well crafted beer.
