Q. What is included in each monthly clubpack?
The monthly beer pack comes in two sizes. Half Dozen ($30 plus shipping) with beer tasting notes. The 6 pack is made up of 3 different beers (2 of each) Dozen ($50 plus shipping) with beer tasting notes. The 12 pack is made up of 4 different beers (3 of each)
Q. How much is delivery?
The pricing shown for Beer Club memberships is inclusive of shipping to the selected state. For all other products sold on this Beer Cartel (i.e. non Beer Club products) shipping costs are additional and calculated based on the weight of the product.
Q. Is there a minimum membership length?
There is no minimum beer club membership length. Memberships can be bought in 1, 3, 6, 9 and 12 month allotments, as well as ongoing (no end month). Once a membership is purchased there are no additional monthly costs, i.e. no hidden monthly membership fees. We also have a buy a pay by the month membership for those that do not want to pay the full amount up front.
Q. When are monthly club packs delivered?
Beer Club orders are taken throughout the month. Upon joining the Beer Club you will receive your first selection the month after you join, e.g. if you purchase in July, your first delivery will be the August selection. This has been done to ensure that there are no stock outs, meaning you always receive your beers. Unfortunately we are unable to hold off the first beer club delivery from being the following months pack.
For Beer Cartel memberships given as a gift you can ask to be sent a printable personalised e-Card which can be given to the recipient letting them know they are now part of the Beer Cartel Monthly Beer Club! Simply type GIFTCARD in the comments box during checkout along with any message you wish included.
Q. Can I include a personalised gift card with a beer club gift
Yes. When purchasing the gift you have the option to send a personalised card with it. Simply type GIFTCARD in the comments box during checkout along with any message you wish included.
Q. Who delivers the beers?
Beer Cartel uses Australia Post to deliver its packages using the Australia Post E-Parcel system, as well as other partner courier companies such as Hunter Express, TNT and DHL during busy periods. Packages are typically shipped in a white cardboard box with Beer Cartel logos and fragile warnings.
Q. Who can sign for the delivery?
Because of the nature of the contents, an adult (18+) is required to sign for the package. To ensure this legal requirement is met, the person responsible for the delivery of the alcohol may ask to see some form of identification.
Q. What if I’m not home to receive the delivery?
We recommend using a business address where possible as packages are delivered during business hours. If you do use your home address and aren’t home don’t worry. If a signature is not received on the day of delivery the package can be collected from your local Post Office - you have 14 days to then collect this.
If your club pack is not collected from Australia Post it will be returned to Beer Cartel and we will contact you to arrange either re-delivery or to pick-up from our store. Please note a re-delivery fee will be charged. If you do not advise us on re-delivery or fail to pickup your package within 30 days it will not be held.
Alternatively you can provide authority for the package to be left. To do so please enter any specific delivery instructions e.g. leave on back porch if no one home, during the checkout process.
Q. Can I add delivery instructions?
Yes. When placing your order you can indicate any specific delivery instructions you may have in the comments box. Please note deliveries are made Monday to Friday during business hours.
Q. What happens if my delivery details were incorrect?
If there has been a delivery issue at our end we will re-deliver the package at no additional charge. If the delivery details you provided were incorrect we will contact you to arrange for either re-delivery or to pick-up from our store. Please note a re-delivery fee will be charged. If you do not advise us on re-delivery or fail to pickup your package within 30 days it will not be held.
Q. Can I put my beer club membership on hold?
If you need to place your beer club membership on hold please email firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us 1300 808 254. Beer club memberships can only be placed on "hold" from the second active month of the membership onwards.
Q. Can I cancel my beer club membership?
If you have selected a set membership timeframe (3, 6, 9 or 12 months) and need to cancel it for any reason you can do so. Given the need to reverse charges already paid, a cancellation fee of 30% will be incurred on the remaining months left on your membership.
If you are on a Pay By The Month membership and cancel before the 15th of the month there is no cancellation charge. Cancellations from the 15th of the month onwards (for Pay By The Month customers) incur a cancellation charge of 30% of the following month's pack. Q. How should I store the beers I receive from Beer Cartel?
Once you have received your beers we recommend that they are refrigerated. The beers often do not have any preservatives or additives. By refrigerating the beers it not only ensures you have a cold beer ready and waiting, it also helps to prolong the beers shelf life.
Q. Can I buy a particular beer in the club pack in larger quantities?
Yes, some of the beers provided in the monthly club selection will be sold in larger quantities. You can find these on the Beer pages of the site or email us firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are so sure that any product sold by Beer Cartel will meet or exceed your expectations that we guarantee the products we sell. Should you for any reason be dissatisfied with your purchase, simply return the items for a full refund. If the items you are returning are beers please return all bottles, including empties. All returns must be made within 7 days of receipt and if the items are not beers they must be in an unused and saleable condition.
