  1. Q. What products does Beer Cartel sell?
    Beer Cartel sells four main types of products; monthly beer club, beer gifts, beer experiences and beer generally. If you can’t decide amongst our range of products we also sell gift certificates.

  2. Q. How do gift certificates work?
    You can purchase a gift certificate from the gift section of the website. When you purchase it you can add a personal note. A downloadable pdf gift certificate will be sent to your nominated email address which you can then forward on or print.

    Our gift certificates can be purchased in the amounts of $30, $50 and $100, which recipients can use on the Beer Cartel website. Gift certificates are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

  3. Q. Do the prices on the website include GST?
    Yes, all prices stated on the website are GST inclusive.

  4. Q. What methods of payment are there?
    We accept credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS) and PayPal. All payments are charged in full up front.

  7. Q. How should I store the beers I receive from Beer Cartel?
    Once you have received your beers we recommend that they are refrigerated. The beers often do not have any preservatives or additives. By refrigerating the beers it not only ensures you have a cold beer ready and waiting, it also helps to prolong the beers shelf life.

  8. Q. What is included in each monthly club shipment?
    The monthly beer pack comes in two sizes.
       1. BC Club Half Dozen ($28 plus shipping), monthly newsletter with beer tasting notes. The 6 beers are made up of 3 different beers (2 of each)
       2. BC Club Dozen ($49 plus shipping), monthly newsletter with beer tasting notes. The 12 beers are made up of 4 different beers (3 of each)

  9. Q. If I like a certain beer that is in the monthly club selection can I buy it in larger quantities?
    Yes, some of the beers provided in the monthly club selection will be sold in larger quantities. You can find these on the Beer pages of the site.

  11. Q. Is there a minimum beer club membership sign up length?
    There is no minimum beer club membership. Memberships can be bought in 1, 3, 6, 9, 12 months allotments, as well as ongoing (no end month). Once a membership is purchased there are no additional monthly costs, i.e. no hidden monthly membership fees. We also have a buy a pay by the month membership for those that do not want to pay the full amount up front.

  12. Q. Can I buy a beer club membership as a gift for someone else?
    Of course! Simply place their address in the delivery details.

  13. Q. Can I put my beer club membership on hold?
    If you need to place your beer club membership on hold please call us on 1300 808 254 or email info@beercartel.com.au.

  14. Q. Can I cancel my beer club membership?
    If you have selected a set membership timeframe (3, 6, 9 or 12 months) and need to cancel it for any reason you can do so. Given the need to reverse charges already paid and administrative costs associated with the cancellation, a cancellation fee of 30% will be incurred on the remaining months left on your membership. If you are on a Pay By The Month and cancel before the 15th of the month there is no cancellation charge. Cancellation after the 15th of the month (for Pay By The Month customers) incurs a cancellation charge of 30% of the following months pack. If you need to cancel your membership please call us on 1300 808 254 or email info@beercartel.com.au .

  15. Q. Can I buy gifts for myself?
    Of course! Just make sure you enter your address when filling out the delivery information.

  16. Q. What is included in the gift packs?
    The contents of the gifts are as stated on the website. While we always aim to have the same products as those outlined on the website at times we may need to substitute certain products due to availability.

  17. Q. When I purchase a gift can it include a personalised gift card?
    Yes. When purchasing the gift you have the option to send a personalised card with it. Simply place in the comment box the message you would like to have in the gift card.

  18. Q. Can I choose which beers are placed in the gift pack?
    To help us with stock control the beers in our packs are predetermined.

  19. Q. How long between my order being placed and delivery of the monthly club beers?
    Beer Club orders are taken throughout the month. Upon joining the Beer Club you will receive your first selection the month after you join, e.g. if you purchase in July, your first delivery will be the August selection of beers. This has been done to ensure that there are no stock outs, meaning you will always receive your beers.

    For Beer Cartel memberships given as a gift you can ask to be sent a printable personalised e-Card which you can give to the recipient letting them know they are now part of the Beer Cartel Monthly Beer Club! Simply type GIFTCARD in the comments box when ordering to receive this.

  20. Q. How long does it take for a non-Beer Club orders to be delivered?
    As a rule of thumb, orders take 3 business days for the transaction to be processed and between 3 - 7 business days for shipping.

  21. Q. Who delivers the beers?
    Beer Cartel uses Australia Post to deliver its packages using Australia Post E-Parcel system as well as other partner courier companies such as Fastways, Hunter Express, TNT and DHL during busy periods. Packages are typically shipped in a white cardboard box with Beer Cartel logos and fragile warnings.

  22. Q. Who can sign for the delivery?
    Because of the nature of the contents an adult (18+) is required to sign for the package. To ensure this legal requirement is met, the person responsible for the delivery of the alcohol may ask to see some form of identification.

  23. Q. Do you have a beer store I can buy and pick up beer from? 
    Yes definitely - come to our store Unit 9, 87 Reserve Road, Artarmon, New South Wales, 2066, Australia. If you have ordered online and then decide to pick up your order from our store unfortunately the delivery fee will not be refunded.

  24. Q. What if I’m not home to receive the delivery?
    We recommend using a business address where possible as packages are delivered during business hours. If you do use your home address and aren’t home don’t worry. If a signature is not received on the day of delivery the package can be collected from your local Post Office - you have 14 days to then collect this.

    If however the package is not collected it will be returned to Beer Cartel and we will contact you to arrange for either re-delivery or to pick-up from our store. Please note a re-delivery fee will be charged. If you do not advise us on re-delivery or fail to pickup your package within 30 days it will not be held. Should a refund be requested instead of re-delivery or store pickup a $10 processing fee will be charged to cover handling and transaction costs. If a redelivery is requested the delivery charges and a $10 processing and admin fee will also be charged.

  25. Q. Can I add delivery instructions?
    Yes! When placing your order you can indicate any specific delivery instructions you may have in the comments box.

  26. Q. Can I have a different address for delivery?
    Yes! Simply enter the address you would like to have the package delivered too.

  27. Q. How much is delivery and who pays for it?
    Shipping costs are in addition to the stated prices on our website (except for Beer Club memberships where the stated price includes shipping to the selected state). Shipping costs are calculated based on the the total weight of goods being purchased at a rate of $9.99 per carton or part there of for NSW/ACT amd $14.99 per carton or part there for other states.   28. Q. What happens if my delivery details were incorrect?  
    If there has been a delivery issue at our end we will re-deliver the package at no additional charge. If the delivery details you provided were incorrect we will contact you to arrange for either re-delivery or to pick-up from our store. Please note a re-delivery fee will be charged as well as a $10 processing and transaction fee. If you do not advise us on re-delivery or fail to pickup your package within 30 days it will not be held. Should a refund be requested instead of re-delivery or store pickup a $10 processing fee will be charged to cover handling and transaction costs.

  30. Q. What happens if I can't make or don't turn up to a Beer Cartel event?
    If you can't make a Beer Cartel event please give us a call 1300 808 254 and let us know. If you cancel within 72 hours of the event or do not turn up to the event, you will forfeit the purchase price of your ticket. We do offer refunds if the cancellation is made more than 72 hours prior to the event, however a $25 processing charge will be deducted per cancelled ticket.

  31. Q. Do you send deliveries outside of Australia?
    Due to the high price of international shipping we are unable to offer this service.

  32. OUR GUARANTEE
    We are so sure that any product sold by Beer Cartel will meet or exceed your expectations that we guarantee the products we sell. Should you for any reason be dissatisfied with your purchase, simply return the items for a full refund. If the items you are returning are beers please return all bottles, including empties. All returns must be made within 7 days of receipt and if the items are not beers they must be in an unused and saleable condition.

    Please ensure the following information is included so your return can be processed:

    • Your Order number if known (appears on the top of the confirmation email)
