Founders Brewing Breakfast Stout
Brewery: Founders Brewing
Format: 355ml Bottle
The coffee lover's consummate beer. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and imported chocolates, and Sumatra and Kona coffee, this stout has an intense fresh-roasted java nose topped with a frothy, cinnamon-colored head that goes forever.

WHAT OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
There is a reason why some say this is their favourite stout! I would give it 4.5 stars - 5 stars if slightly less coffee flavour was present. Still an all time great.
A staple breakfast requirement
"Tastes of coffee and chocolate. Big thick chewy mouth feel.
Huge aromas. Big ABV. Be careful with this Bad Boy."
Sets the standard for a mocha porter.
Pours thick and dark, really pitch black, taste is of chocolate and coffee and a little alcohol under the covers. Starts out good and gets better the longer it sits. Serve it in a wide glass so you can smell the coffee.
Love this beer. Dominant flavour is definitely the chocolate, not a whole lot of coffee coming through, but I can't fault the beer at all. Dangerously easy to drink at 8.3%.
Chocolate, coffee and malt for days.
Lots of sweet malt, lots of booze. Insanely thick and just gets better and better the longer you sit on it.
"Impressive Oatmeal stout from Founders.
As it gets warmer the rich aromas intensify, making a great supper beer."
Good choc stout
A good choc stout, on my palate flavours of coffee were missing but forgiven. Quite thick and matched really well with some shortbread biscuits for dessert.
One of the Best Stouts Going Around
"A full bodied, thick oatmeal stout. Heaps of roasted malt, chocolate and COFFEE. Noticeably strong from the alcohol, but well balanced thanks to the sweet sweet malts and
bitter..... NESS. The beer was creamy, thick and...... Awesome. A slow sipper!"
Not just for breakfast
A big black beer packed full of coffee. Rich on the palate, delivering nutty biscuity malt, with plenty of complex coffee notes of spice, dark fruit & earthiness, and a generous hit of American hops to finish.
