HopDog BeerWorks Shizzam!
Brewery: HopDog BeerWorks
Style: Double IPA
Format: 330ml Bottle
This is a big IPA. Infact, it's a pretty big double IPA. It's a lightning bolt of hops. Shizzam was first brewed in 2008 (we think) by the original members of the NSW Brewers Guild, and after losing the original recipe it was decided to rebrew this award winning DIPA. By "we", we mean Luke Scott from Prickly Moses and Bill Taylor ex Lion Nathan (super nice guy) on a day that wasn't 50 degrees outside.
It's brewed with 2 base malts and 4 hops, from 3 countires - Chinook, Vic Secret, Riwaka & Orbit. Massive dank cirtrus, woody pine and tropical fruit hop aromas, big bitterness and caramel malt.
Drink this hop demon fresh. Do not cellar it.
