  Not up to expectations.

  Have recently been drinking draught Scotch Ale and was expecting similar, but this was not up to my expectations.

  Very Enjoyable

  This Scotch Ale has a malty taste and lovely copper coloured hue to it. I was expecting it to be much heavier but was pleasantly surprised by its easy drinking.

  Nice Scotch Ale with a great smooth flavour

  Rich in flavour, but not too heavy in the mouth, which means it's quite drinkable, even to those who aren't fans of darker and heavier beers (i.e. my husband). Sweeter than some other Scotch Ales, but still with a nice level of bitterness.

  Good

  A really good example of the style. I felt that this Scotch ale had been turned down a notch or muted from some other 'bigger' examples of a Wee Heavy that exist out there. Definitely a beer for people who aren't sure if they will enjoy the style.

  A beautiful copper colour. Very smooth with a nice Caramel taste.
