So called because of the immediate ruinous effect on your palate. 100+ IBUs. Bracingly bitter. Thick, pungent hop aroma. We would say that no hops were injured in the brewing of this beer, but that would be a massive lie. In fact, the words "Stone Ruination IPA" are what older hop vines use to cause little hop vines to quiver with fright and lose sleep at night . We at Stone honor the brutal massacre of countless hops with this "Liquid poem to the glory of the hop!" Paganism at its best!

Note: Dates on Stone beers are a freshness date. Some of these are ridiculously short e.g. 30 days from bottling. Beer will be in good drinkable condition for up to one year from bottling.

WHAT OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING

  1. 5 Star Review Best IPA I have had in a long time

This is my ideal style of American IPA. Full of flavour, lovely citrus dominant hops, but clean and refreshing on the palate. I love their arrogant bastard, but as a sessional beer, and particularly for summer, you will regret it if you pass this one by.

  2. 5 Star Review Great beer

I purchased two of these in my delivery and although it was a delicious beer, the "Enjoy by" date was Sept 2014. IPAs have a shorter shelf life than many beers, so I'd be interested to taste a fresher version. I still have one to go and am looking forward to it. It's a fantastic example of an IPA from a great brewery

  3. 4 Star Review Awesome(4*)

Floral, resinous hops nose. Awesome citrus flavours. Resinous viscosity, almost creamy. Medium bitter finish. Long flavoursome hops linger.

  4. 4 Star Review Hoptastic

"Extremely hoppy beer. In the best possible way.
A classic beer, if you haven't tried any Stone beers yet before, I'd highly encourage you to give this one a try."

  5. 5 Star Review Awesome drinkability

At first I was a little concerned as the beer was about twelve months in the bottle, however I was blown away by the drinkability of this hop monster and would not hesitate buying again, for this beer to be this good after 12 months is a real testament to the brewers ability and how well this beer has been looked after. I am know going to have to make the pilgrimage to this brewery to try it from the source. 10/10

  6. 5 Star Review Awesome

Aroma is all hops, resinous and dank with a slight sweetness. Very little malt in the flavour, too. Massive, tongue coating hopping masks virtually all malt. The bitterness isn’t as prominent as expected initially, after a few sips it takes over your taste buds.

  7. 5 Star Review Defcon 4

Another step in the Lupulin Threshold Shift journey. Great great beer, everything you could expect in an IIPA. Just keep going back to it and it kept delivering.
