WHAT OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
Real session beer
Served in a flute glass the transparent, golden pour offers up a frothy 1 finger head that reduces to a light dusting of foam on top. Some healthy lacing clings to the glass. The aroma is producing some nice, light pot-pourri florals with candied lemon, pear, sage, lavender and undertones of cereal grains and corn. There's enough going on here to say that it's a decent aroma for a pils. The mouth feel is light and oily with a vibrant, well rounded fizz. The front palate enjoys a mildly assertive bitterness that hangs on through to the finish. Another few sips allow the tongue to get accustomed to the spicy, citrusy hops which in turn allows hints of light biscuit malts and corn chips to come forward. The finish is mild citric with a lengthy bitter back end that may just be cautiously revealing its slightly above average ABV (5.3%). This is a pretty good pilsner, while being very sessional at the same time a decent flavour profile is on offer. Well balanced and all round easy drinking beer. Not bad.
Citrus nose. Tart grapefruit flavours. Medium bitter finish. Looks like a typical pilsner, but that where it ends.
