Balter XPA is my go to beer, perfectly balanced and great for a hot summers day (or any day for that matter)

The 2 cans I received were 10 months old, so unfortunately a lot of the flavour had disappeared, what was left was pretty bland, and I couldn't give it a fair go. The 3 star rating isn't a slight on the beer itself (which I can't fairly review), just the condition it was received in.
If you are a fan of my reviews then you may start to see my love for the West Coast style of I.P.A and X.P.A over the East Coast and this beer is all about that. Filled with a golden floral/ fruitiness that ends with a nice bitterness its the perfect stable in my week that works with so many dishes. People have said its too sweet but I find this very similar yet infinitely better to a Stone and Wood Pacific ale.
Nice hit of citrus. You can easily have a session with this beer on a warm day
