It's no secret Germany has been making some of the best beer in the world for a very long time. Our twelfth edition of our Best of Germany Mixed Pack brings together 12 incredible German beers that pair great with a plate of Bratwurst, or makes for an excellent tasting night with friends. Prost!

Here's the line-up:

1. Franziskaner Dunkel 500ml Bottle

Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse Dunkel wins supporters with its refreshing yet aromatic and full-bodied flavour. This dark, cloudy specialty is a special treat for weiss beer connoisseurs and bock beer aficionados. ABV 5%

2. Schneider Weisse Meine Hopfen-Weisse (Tap 5) 500ml Bottle

Go on a discovery: "Meine Hopfenweisse" - the incomparable experience of indulgent drinking, that exceeds all expectations … hoppy, but flowery, bitter and full-bodied, and still with a sweet malty aroma - this is how multifaceted wheat beer can actually be. A real delight in the special Schneider way! And when it comes to spicy dishes or refined chocolates the "Hopfenweisse" unleashes no less than a pleasant tremor of the senses. ABV 8.2%

3. Erdinger Kristal 500ml Bottle

ERDINGER Kristall ensures unclouded – in the true meaning of the word – wheat beer enjoyment. This top-fermenting specialty glistens golden-yellow in the glass. Its trump card: an extra portion of natural carbonic acid from the fermentation process ensures a deliciously tingling and refreshing sensation in the mouth. The liveliest of our wheat beer specialties by far! Well-balanced malt notes harmonize pleasantly with hints of fruit. ABV 5.3%

4. Spaten Premium 500ml Bottle

This beer is a Spaten specialty. In 1894 Spaten became the first brewery in Munich to produce this brand of light lager. Golden in color with a well-balanced hop-flavor. The full rounded body is a superb balance between hops and malty sweetness. ABV 5.2%

5. Bitburger 500ml Can

Our straw-coloured pilsner is crystal-clear and perfectly hopped, boasting a light taste and a lasting foam head with extra-fine bubbles. This all combines for a moment of pure pilsner enjoyment. ABV 4.8%

6. Fruh Kolsch 500ml Can

From the recipe by Peter Josef Früh of the family brewery, this top-fermented specialty beer features the best ingredients and is brewed according to the German Purity Law. A favourite beer of Cologne, which became one of the city’s original. ABV 4.8%

7. Radeberger Pilsner Zwickelbier 500ml Can

This special brew goes through the exact same brewing process as the Radeberger Pilsner. The only difference: it’s bottled right before filtration. The result: a perfectly crafted, hazy Zwickelbier with a milder, sweeter taste. Why is it called Zwickelbier you ask? It’s a historical name based on the so called 'Zwickel‘. The Zwickel is the literal tap handle on the brewing tanks which used to let our brewmasters take samples before bottling. ABV 4.8%

8. Erdinger Weissbier 500ml Bottle

Every sip leaves you wanting more – our Erdinger wheat beer with its fine yeast is the crowning glory of traditional Bavarian brewing skills. The strength of this classic wheat beer lies in the harmonious balance it achieves between the various aromas. Gently spicy wheat and yeast aromas blend with mildly bitter hops. The invigorating carbon dioxide ensures its typical liveliness. A premium beer whose full-bodied yet elegant character leaves a lasting impression of ultimate Bavarian enjoyment. A truly unique wheat beer! ABV 5.3%

9. Schofferhofer Hefeweizen 500ml Bottle

Schöfferhofer German Wheat Beer Hefeweizen is brewed in Bavarian tradition using wheat malt. The live yeast gives bottle "conditioning" guaranteeing a refreshing fruity flavour. The yeast sediment also leads to the "cloudy" nature of the beer. Care needs to be taken when pouring. Tilt glass and poor slowly. Before pouring last quarter, roll bottle gently back and forward until sediment is dissolved ABV 5%

10. Maisel Original 500ml Bottle

The careful selection of the finest wheat and barley malts gives Maisel's Weisse its reddish glowing amber colour. The beer uses a recipe and traditional brewing methods passed down by generations of master brewers, while the speciality yeast gives the beer its unique character. The beer has pleasant fruity notes with malt, fruit and clove flavours and a touch of nutmeg, producing a slightly fruity, spicy wheat beer. ABV 5.4%

11. Weltenburger Kloster Asam Bock 500ml Bottle

A strong, dark Doppelbock that´s more than meets the eye. Malty-aromatic, sweet, pleasently heavy, with an intensive fragrance and strong flavour; a world known specialty just like its baroque namesake, the brilliant painter and architect Cosmas Damian Asam. ABV 6.9%

12. Warsteiner 500ml Can

Enjoy this world-class international premium pilsner. Unique: the slightly tart taste experience. Exceptional: the top quality of the ingredients. Inimitable: the exquisite premium character. Pleasantly light: thanks to especially soft brewing water. ABV 4.8%
