Black Hops Brewing
Black Hops Frontyard Cucumber & Mint Gose
Brewery: Black Hops Brewing
Format: 375ml Can
Pronounced "Goes-Uh" this modern interpretation of a classic German style matches the lemon tartness of the lactic bacteria culture with a refreshing saltiness which was achieved through the addition of actual seawater from our very own front yard beach in Burleigh and split into 3 seperate small batches, this batch is fermented with cucumber and mint.
WHAT OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
refreshing if you like this flavour, but not my cup of tea
I have never really been a fan of cucumber flavour in beverages, but there are a lot of people who are. Interesting that this is being done in a beer after many years of it being done id soda water, gin and so forth, with the craft beer phenomenon, a cucumber beer was inevitable. As with anything Black Hops does, this is a well brewed and refreshing Gose, its just not a flavouring that suits my fancy, but it would still refresh me if ice cold on a hot day.
