Wishing You A Merry Christmas And Great 2021!

Wow - 2020 has been a year like no other.

We've gone through bush fires, COVID, lockdowns and a whole lot more. It's challenged us all and made our new 'normal' quite different from what it has ever been.

The world we've been used to for so long has been tipped on its head, as we deal with toilet paper shortages, hand sanitiser and an inability to travel overseas.

Through this all we have had to adapt in a big way.

We've seen sales grow by just under 100% which means we had to massively change how we operate to get good beer into your hands as quickly as possible. To cope we did a lot:
- Doubled the Beer Cartel team
- Re-engineered the whole picking & packing process of orders so that we are now 200% more efficient
- Reduced the amount of paper we use by 50% and looked at other ways we can be more environmentally responsible

We've been just a little bit busy!

Alongside that we've been working on our website to make your purchase experience even better:
- Launched faster and better search functionality
- Introduced Paypal and Zip Money payment options
- Added to our support team and built out our support platform to better look after customer enquiries with faster response times

We've also had fun bringing you over 1,000 new beers and packs, including:
- Hop Products Australia Eclipse packs launching the Eclipse hop in Australia
- Isolation / Keeping Local Alive beer packs
- Our ever popular Advent Calendar which sold out in record time
- Our Narconomics beer collaboration with Mountain Culture (expect more or these collabs in 2021)
And finally alongside all of the above we've:
- Run the 5th Australian Craft Beer Survey as our way of giving back to the industry- Updated our Sydney store with a fresh new look and more shelves
- Won the Beer & Brewer award for best online store for the 4th year running
We're hugely grateful for all your support, both for Beer Cartel and of the Australian craft beer scene generally.

We hope you have a relaxing and happy run to the end of the year. 2021 just has to be a waaay better year than 2020 and we can't wait to bring it to you - we've got lots in the works!
