Bridge Road Brewers
Bridge Road Mayday Hills Grape Sanjiovese Shiraz
Brewery: Bridge Road
Style: Sour Ale
Format: 330ml Bottle
This peach coloured ale combines yeast derived fruity esters and creamy mouthfeel with tannin structure provided by grapes.
This ale was made with Fighting Gully Road winery who initially provided juice from cold soaked Sangiovese which we added to the end of the boil on brewday. We then supplemented this with skins and bunches from freshly pressed Shiraz, post fermentation.
Mayday hills is a farmhouse beer project from Bridge Road Brewers. These beers are fermented in traditional wooden foedar tanks and reflect our township and the surrounding region. Mayday Hills.
WHAT OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
Different, but worth a try
Very drinkable despite it coming in at 7.8%. Pours a thin white head and has a deep straw colour. It has a moderate sourness and a nice aroma of wine.
