Boris the Russian Imperial Stout, from the cold depths of Mother Russia, cough cough, we mean Boom Town Perth, Western Australia. Boris pours jet black in colour with a tightly packed mocha head and a viscous full body. Boris is brewed using five specialty malts including roasted dark and chocolate barley imported from the free economic world. These malts contribute to the bold espresso and chocolate aromas and flavour. Boris is a beer to be savored and free of radical reform. Best enjoyed between 8 and 12C.

A classic Russian Imperial stout, big in both body and flavour.

Great drop
A great tasting stout
3
nice heavy stout
heavy stout with flavour, just didn't hit my mark as well as I would have liked.

Australia brewed - Russian Bear Punch!
Loved the full earthy smoky flavors and aroma, it's a heavy Stout to enjoy slowly, at over 9% alcohol - nice to know it's Australian-made, a real gem for special occasions.

One hell of a beer here
Has a chocolate taste with a roasted coffee aftertaste, can feel the 9.1% kick of this beer

Almost sets a benchmark
One of the best Australian imperial stouts I have tried, certainly terms of its price. Rich, dark, mellifluous, smooth, liquorice, chocolate, creamy, superb. Highly alcoholic too. One for sipping slowly. Not a summer drink!

Excellent
One of the best - right up there with those Mornington Peninsular brews.

Average for an Imperial stout.
Nothing special to talk about here. Anyone can make a nice impy stout and this one fails to impress. Quite a nice drop and I'm not complaining at this price .

You had me at imperial stout
Feral never fail to impress and when I learned they do an imperial stout, there was no way I wasn't going to give this a try. All the characteristics that make a good imperial - strong coffee, malt and chocolate notes and of course, a hefty ABV without it being overbearing. Ah Feral, you've done it again!
