Brewed with ten varieties of malted barley this stout is extremely smooth, complex and rich in body. We recommend serving at cellar temperature. Sit back and enjoy its richness and complexity, you're about to drink the ultimate winter warmer.

WHAT OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING

  1. 4 Star Review Packed with Strong Stout Flavours!

I'm not an expert on brews but have been sampling a number of Stouts - this one really caught the taste buds with strong "roasted" (slightly burnt toast?) grain flavors. It's also VERY dark, even the head has a deep orange-brown hue, you know you've tasted a real deep Stout here. As an Imperial, over 10% alcohol, take the time to really appreciate half-a-glass with a friend or two. It is deep, strongly roasted and with an almost syrupy heaviness, full of mouth tingling tastes and after-tastes. Impressive value, a real experience!

  2. 5 Star Review One of the very best bang for buck stouts anywhere.

An amazing stout. Strong but very smooth, mouth filling flavour, perfectly balanced and ages very well. Makes many other "limited release, big flavoured stouts" seem watery.

  3. 5 Star Review Excellent

This is an impressive beer. No cold-pressed coffee infusion or small-batch single-malt barrel-aged flim flam, just a straight forward ode to the king of dark beers: the Russian Imperial Stout. The colour is black as night with a dark tan head. The flavour is rich roasted malts at the forefront, evoking strong espresso and unsweetened dark chocolate, which is balanced by an assertive hop bitterness. The middle palate rounds out with some dark fruit and berries, with a bitter yet sweet ending. The mouthfeel is thick and silky, but not cloyingly so. All in all, a world class beer.

  5. 4 Star Review Classic Imperial Stout

This is a classic example of an Imperial Stout. Big, bold and Beautiful

  6. 4 Star Review Stupidly dark!

This is a ridiculously dark beer (in a good way). Lots of bitter chocolate, creamy head with some lingering coffee and sweetness. Fantastic.

  7. 5 Star Review Bitter Sweet

Strong bitter chocolate and coffee with some nice sweetness. A great imperial stout

  8. 5 Star Review Excellent

Fantastic beer. Rich chocolate aromas. Leaves a distinct brown coating on the inside of the glass. A must try for stout lovers.
