HopDog Horns Up
Brewery: HopDog BeerWorks
Style: Rye IPA
Format: 330ml Bottle
Horns Up Rye IPA doesn't hold back as an IPA. With a load of NZ and USA hops riding on a solid malt backbone it answers most beer cravings! It finishes off quite dry with a lingering bitterness.
WHAT OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
I was expecting a nice hops hit but I fear I may have received an over done or close to use by bottle. very sugary on the palate that over whelmed everything else
Hoppy yeast nose and front. Banana, light grapefruit and lychee flavours. Rye is well disguised. Chimes in late with the linger.
Really Nice Beer
Aroma wise your in a pine forest & taste wise you get passion fruit with a nice spice kick
A great IPA Very strong hop flavour, but with added rye malt, & not overly filtered, gives this beer even more flavour..Go the Aussies, this beer better than the Southern Tier IPAs, or the Sierra Nevada IPAs, from USA.
