Here's the line-up:
1. Mountain Culture More Tunes Double NEIPA 500ml Can
Gone are the days of giggling stoners in the attic and drum circles in the backyard; and in are the days of juicy craft beers and hops that enjoy celebrity status. For this juicy number, we've gone with the celebrity ensemble of Amarillo, Mosaic and Simcoe to give this NEIPA aromas and flavours of tropical and stone fruits. Yeah! More tunes! (And beer!) ABV: 8.5%
2. Mountain Culture Relaxation Station Oat Cream IPA 500ml Can
Welcome to the Relaxation Station, where one's senses are heightened by the endless pleasures generated from the careful interplay of New World hops, creamy oats and our house hazy yeast strain. Let the euphoric flavours of tropical fruits and the hint of sweetness from a touch of lactose free flow through your body and surf your mind as you indulge in this creamy delight. Contains lactose. ABV: 6.5%
3. Mountain Culture Hill People Oat Cream NEIPA 500ml Can
For this indulgent New England Oat Cream IPA, DJ threw on his tattered corduroy overalls at the crack of dawn and trekked down the picturesque hills to the milking shed to work the teats of our fresh Sabro hops for every last drop of fresh citrus and coconutty goodness. The addition of lactose to the boil provides a velvety mouthfeel for that extra bit of Hill People luxury. ABV: 6.8%
4. Mountain Culture Be Kind Rewind NEIPA 500ml Can
What started off as a taproom experiment with Sabro and Vic Secret hops quickly became one of our most popular beers thanks to its pillowy mouthfeel, haze and tropical notes. Its name is a nod to our Katoomba brewery’s former life as a Civic Video store, and while we may no longer be rewinding videos, its sentiment of paying forward a kind gesture to a stranger is as timeless as this New England IPA. ABC: 7.3%
5. Mountain Culture Moon Dust Stout 355ml Can
A sessionable stout we made for misty mountain days and long nights by the fire. Rich cocoa and coffee notes rise above its smooth, creamy caramel body leaving space for only a hint of residual bitterness. ABV: 5.6%
6. Mountain Culture Status Quo Pale Ale 355ml Can
Status Quo is a juicy New England Pale Ale. Made for hop lovers with massive late and dry hop additions, it's full flavoured and more tropical than the Hawaiian ukulele orchestra. ABV: 5.2%
7. Mountain Culture Kuchisabishii Japanese Rice Lager with Yuzu 355ml Can
Kuchisabishii (口寂しい) is a uniquely Japanese word meaning ‘Lonely Mouth’ and describing the act of eating or drinking when you’re not actually hungry or thirsty. We thought it was a perfect name for our Japanese Rice Lager with Yuzu which we think is delicious whether you’re hungry or not. Brewed by turning our kettle into a “Cereal Cooker” and making enough rice for a small army before introducing the cooked rice into a light pilsner malt mash. We used a neutral lager yeast strain and added Yuzu and Lime post fermentation to give a delicately balanced lager with some citrus complexity. ABV: 5%
8. Mountain Culture Trust Falls Decoction Hefeweizen 355ml Can
It seems like Hefeweizens might just be the most despised beer style in the craft beer world right now, with many remarking “I hate wheat beer” when we hinted that this might be on the cards. So, you could say that by brewing one, we’re asking you to take a bit of a trust fall?
For our Decoction Hefeweizen, our friends at Voyager Craft Malt produced us our very own under-modified wheat malt. We utilised five separate temperature rests to create a complex malt profile from it in this easy-drinking Weissbier.
And you now what? We reckon this beer is going to change what you think about Hefeweizen's. (Unless you already love them. In which case, it will cement your thinking.) ABV: 5%
