1. Ocean Reach Raspberry Saison
Raspberry Saison 4.4% is light, crisp and super refreshing. In true farmhouse style some spicy notes are present and we added a twist with a fruity raspberry finish.
2. Anderson Valley Cherry Gose
Brewed with the juice of Montmorency sour cherries from Michigan, this kettle-soured beer is a melange of flavors aromas. Bright cherry flavors mingle with the salty tartness of the gose to create a uniquely complex and refreshing drinking experience.
3. Boatrocker Miss Pinky
Berliner Weisse style ale brewed with two strains of Lactobacillus using traditional German kettle fermentation, and then a special ale yeast for secondary fermentation. 100kg of fresh, locally sourced raspberries were then added to the fermenter to help give this beer it distinctive colour, aroma and flavour.
4. Currumbin Valley Grape Bubblegum Sour
The taste of your chewy childhoods, this is your grown up version. Puckering sour beer inspired by grape Hubba Bubba. Big bubbles, no troubles!
Winner of 2019 GABS People's Choice award.
5. Grifter Acid Drop Sour Ale
Acid Drop is a hoppy kettle sour, bursting with fresh tropical fruit punch flavour without having any fruit added. A clean sour, simple experience.
6. Little Bang The Pinkening Sour
Hibiscus infused session sour. It's pink alright. This tart, dry, bright and zippy pink drink is looking for the middle ground between beer and sour iced tea. I think the idea behind it was something like: "If we're going to make a light beer, we're making absolutely sure it isn't boring."
7. One Drop Rojo Goji Nitro Imperial Sour
This red-hued sour ale, jam packed with Goji Berry (also known as the go-getting Wolfberry) is backed up with Blueberry, Sour Cherry, Pomegranate, with the juice and peel of Orange, Lemon, and Lime. Don't be fooled by the carefully layered complementary flavours though, this is all
about the Goji, but everything else certainly plays its part. It’s a like a NingXia™ inspired sour party with Goji and Friends… And we think it just tastes mega yum!
8. Batch Pash The Magic Dragon Sour Ale 375ml
Pash the Magic Dragon lived by the brewery, and frollicked in a golden grist of flaked wheat and barley. His friend, Jackle Paper, loved that rascal Pash, and brought him malt to help him sour that crisp and tasty mash. Oh! Together they would sour wort with some lactic acid, Jackle kept a lookout to make sure it wasn't flaccid. But one wanted a sweet and yellow from some passionfruit, the other wanted pink and tart from some dragon fruit. Oh! The dragon and his friend, they bickered all night long, til they finally realised that neither one was wrong! They put each fruit into the beer and let it settle out, the friendship saved!
9. Revel Mango Macadamia Weiss Bar Sour
Nothing beats a refreshing ice cream treat on a balmy Queensland afternoon. This beer is a 'kettle sour' based on a summer classic, the Mango weiss bar, and been loaded with fresh Mango, Macadamia & Coconut to recreate an Aussie classic.
10. Slow Lane Botany Weisse Mango & Passionfruit Sour Ale
Botany Weisse is our version of a Berliner Weisse sour German wheat beer. Like traditional recipes, it undergoes a secondary Brett fermentation for added complexity. We aged this beer for five months including two months on mango and passionfruit. A super refreshing fruit filled experience.
11. Akasha Mon Cheri Cherry Sour IPA
A GABS Fest special, Mon Cheri slides across the lips like a dream. Purplish pink in hue and ripe with Talus fruit and floral notes atop a light, sour cherry tang, it’s a gently bitter and seductive little number that’s a real French kiss of a beer. Miam miam!
12. Moon Dog Banh Mi Bahn Mi Say That You Love Me Cucumber Gose
Bánh Mì, Bánh Mì, Say That You Love Me Cucumber, Chilli & Coriander Gose is our love letter to the bánh mì! We’ve taken the garnishes from a beloved bánh mì and added them to a perfectly tart, slightly salty Gose. Think a lil’ bit of chilli, a lil’ bit of coriander and a whole lotta cucumber. Cucumber is the star of the show with light and floral coriander and an extremely gentle chilli burn adding just the right amount of tang. A perfect tart and slightly salty finish rounds this Gose off!
