XL Extra Lager
Lager - Pale
Brewery: Mountain Goat Beer
Location: Richmond, Victoria
Beer Description: XL is a hop-forward and refreshing lager.
A bumper blend of Australian and US hops gives this beer its signature aroma of citrus and tropical fruit notes.
Mild malt flavours come through on first sip with assertive hop bitterness on the mid-palate.
An extended cool-temperature fermentation with German lager yeast lends the XL a super clean finish.
Depth Perception DIPA
IPA - Imperial / Double
Brewery: White Bay Beer Co.
Location: Balmain, New South Wales
Beer Description: What a year. Depth Perception was conceived as an ode to the good times. With a year that could be summed up into a few colourful 4 letter words it's sometimes good to take a deep breath and take things into perspective. Nothing is permanent. Resistance is futile. We brewed this beer with some of our absolute favourite malts and a combination of hops that we are infatuated with, including some early harvest Riwaka from our dear friend Nick at One Drop Brewing.
Pale Ale - Australian
Brewery: Wayward Brewing
Location: Camperdown, New South Wales
Beer Description: We brewed this easy drinking hazy pale ale for those looking for a sessionable mid-strength ABV beer with a seriously juicy hop punch. Light malt and oats are perfectly balanced with tropical hop flavours of Citra, Simcoe and Chinook. The perfect backyard beer.
IPA - American
Brewery: Dainton Brewery
Location: Carrum Downs, Victoria
Beer Description: Bold and resinous, piney & proud – this is our nod to the pioneers of the IPA. Take your own road… Because how you get there is just as important where you are going.
Sour - Other
Brewery: Modus Operandi Brewing Co.
Location: Mona Vale, New South Wales
IPA - New England
Brewery: Mountain Culture Beer Co.
Location: Katoomba, New South Wales
Beer Description: With the business savvy and connections of the multinationals, not to mention the types of protection that can be offered, it just makes sense to collaborate with the Cartel. Our associates don’t even mind that we get ‘high on our own supply’, which in this case is a delightful hazy, our most Strata-forward beer so far, a hop well known for its, well, cannibis-like qualities. Really looking forward to asking our lawyer if we can call him back, the Cartel is on the other line...
Trubble & Squeak
IPA - Imperial / Double New England
Brewery: Sauce Brewing Co
Location: Marrickville, NSW
Beer Description: Brewed specially for GABS2018!
A beefed up version of our Bubble & Squeak NEIPA, more of everything plus the addition of real mangoes!
This is as juicy as it gets.
How's It Gosen? Cherry Gose
Sour - Fruited Gose
Brewery: BentSpoke Brewing Co
Location: Braddon, Australian Capital Territory
Beer Description: Drifting in for Summer is a cheery, cherry, salty sour ale. Refreshing, blushing and full of summer sunset!
Dessert In A Can - Mango & Chocolate Creamsicle
Stout - Imperial / Double Pastry

Mango Oat Cream DDH IPA
IPA - Imperial / Double
Brewery: Nomad Brewing Co.
Location: Brookvale, New South Wales
Beer Description: Dialing the creaminess up to maximum with the use of oats and lactose then double dry hopped for super smooth tropical juice hoppiness. Throw in a tonne of fresh mango puree and you have it all. Tropical fruits, cream and big bold hop flavours it’s your favorite summer ice cream in a can.
Evil Eye Red IPA
IPA - Red
Brewery: Capital Brewing Co
Location: Fyshwick, Australian Capital Territory
Beer Description: Our first seasonal brew is a big & bold Red IPA named after an old tree stump tattooed with
an evil eye, once located on Lake George just outside the Capital. With a forward hop profile,
it’s full bodied, packed with flavour and aroma and has a balanced dry finish. We’ve used
fresh Batlow grown US Cascade hops for extra
hop kick. Best enjoyed in season.
Hops: Columbus, Simcoe, Pacifica,
Southern Cross, Montueka, US Cascade
Pale Ale - Australian
Brewery: Reckless Brewing Co.
Beer Description:This Small Batch can contains one of our more rebellious brews. These beers allow us to flex our muscles a little and try something different. This beer is a one off so pick me up, crack me open, and enjoy!
This XPA is a S.M.A.S.H. (Single Malt And Single Hop). Its all-Australian ingredients let the hops do the talking. The subtle Aussie Pale Malt is the perfect partner and lets the incredible Aussie Galaxy hop shine through! It’s double dry hopped, and ready to SMASH!
Sour - Flanders Red Ale
Brewery: Brouwerij Rodenbach
Location: Roeselare, Vlaanderen
Beer Description: RODENBACH is the unique & original “Flanders Red Ale”, recognised as a traditional local product. Mixed main fermentation and maturation in oak casks (“foeders”) give it the same sweet-sour flavour and complex fruitiness as wine.
RODENBACH consists of 3/4 young beer and 1/4 beer matured two years in oak. It's is highly refreshing and appetising: the perfect apéritif or session ale!
Pilsner - Other
Location: Dandenong South, VIC
Beer Description: Paradise Pils! Inspired by Nat’s trip to the Pilsner cellars of Bohemia. A self-confessed IPA-fiend, everything that Nat believed to be true was challenged the fateful day he drank unfiltered Pilsner in the cellars of Urquell. Since then he has been working towards putting a unique KAIJU! spin on this classic lager style. Paradise Pils brings crisp palate perfection layered with fruity new world, German and US hops
Stout - Oatmeal
Brewery: Hop Nation Brewing Co
Location: Footscray, Victoria
Beer Description: Using three, uniquely toasted malts, alongside oats, results in a smooth and creamy mouthfeel highlighted with hints of mocha
