By using heritage malts, and multiple hop additions throughout the brewing process, we've created a beer with the perfect balance of flavour, bitterness, ABV and drinkability. Amber ales have always held a special place in our hearts, ever since we released our first one back in 1997. Rich and full-flavoured, they’re classics for a reason. Sometimes, though, you want something a bit more…fancy. Fancy Pants is Hightail Ale 2.0. We amped up the malt bill, added a truckload hops, and then added even more hops! The bumper malt blend makes for a richer, toffee-like backbone, dotted with notes of spice, and the hops add just enough fruitiness for a slightly bitter finish.

This cold XPA is fermented with a lager yeast, at a lower temp then your traditional XPA for a crisper, cleaner finish. We've added generous dry hop additions of Comet, Eclipse & Mosiac for dank tropical notes of Citrus, Mango and Pineapple

Hopwired was one of the first, true new world IPAs made exclusively with unique NZ hops. In its short life time it has become a modern classic among Kiwi craft beers. Since then, many other IPAs have emerged but we dare say this is still somewhat the benchmark. Although there is plenty of malt sweetness, this beer is all about the hops. Punchy, aggressive, New Zealand hops that all add up to create wonderful, tropical flavours and aromas. Wine people would talk about waves of passionfruit, limes, tangelos & gooseberries. Luckily we don't have to go to such detail, so you can just enjoy it without further complication. Cheers!

In the depths of the Black Forest, just set back from the winding trail, sits a house. This house might seem peaceful at first glance. Nestled beneath the boughs of old growth oak and elm trees its thatched roof is mottled by the shifting shadows of a slow sunset. A trail of smoke winds lazily from the chimney carrying the foreign scent of enticing spices. A small wooden door sits slightly crooked in a wooden frame allowing a chink of warm light to spill out. It looks welcoming, idyllic even, as the last golden rays of the sun settle behind the horizon. Do not be fooled though, young one. For this is a Hexenhaus, and to cross its threshold is to give yourself over to the ministrations of a witch. What she will do, none can say. For when a curious, brave, or foolish, traveller such as yourself enters, they are never seen again. Hexenhaus is a Roggenbier. This traditional German style ale is brewed with a base of Vienna malt supported by 3 different varieties of Rye to provide a rich and complex malt profile featuring flavours of dark brown bread, light toffee and black pepper. This is supported by Hallertau Tradition hops to provide a grassy hop character and supporting bitterness. The result is a smooth and drinkable rye ale which abounds with chewy malt character and subtle spice.

Brewed in one of the southern most breweries in the world, this ale is like a spring thunderstorm: dark, breezy, exhilarating and unsurprisingly wet. It's near black and malty rich, yet is also fresh and joyously hoppy--a juxtaposition of beer styles that we call "Pot Kettle Black." Enjoy it with your favorite friends and great music.

This 6% full flavoured, Hazy IPA has a rounded mouthfeel, double dry hopped with Azzaca & Cashmere give this beauty a massive tropical hit, but it's the pineapple that makes me say, "excuse me while I kiss the sky"... Flight Mode is a brand new Oat Cream IPA, dry hopped with the dreamy hop combination of Citra, Mosaic and Nectaron. You’ll feel like you’re soaring through the clouds with the ultra pillowy mouthfeel that glides through when this drop hits your lips. Waves and waves of saturating hop goodness fly through on this one bringing white peach, mango, bubblegum and a hint of creamy vanilla. The finish is so damn soft and has a beautifully tropical aftertaste that feels like it hangs around forever.

Driven by tropical hop flavours with beautiful bursts of citrus and resiny pine, all rounded off with a dry, mouth-watering finish, Central West is a no-nonsense beer you’ll be necking all night for its fantastic taste, restrained bitterness and refreshing nature.
