A rich Belgian quadrupel made by Brouwerij Deca, a small production brewery in Woesten Vleteren run for five generations by the Christiaens family.

Vleteren 12 is aged for 12 months in oak barrels, with the addition of a small amount of port to the barrels during the maturation process. The beer is rich and dark, with notes of chocolate, red fruit, caramel, honey and oak. Hints of port wine around the edges, light spiciness from the hops and gentle warmth from the alcohol in the finish all come together to create this rich and well-balanced beer.
