Each year we bring in the official German Oktoberfest beers, but we thought it’s about time we also celebrated the incredible examples being brewed locally. Craft breweries have been giving the Germans a serious run for their money in recent years when it comes to these traditional styles. Technically daunting, time consuming and very expensive to make, it takes serious devotion to brew these beers. This pack features our favourite Australian breweries for German styles. We adore them, so get on it before we drink it all ourselves. Prost!

1. Frenchies Festbier 440ml Can
A smooth and malty German-style lager brewed to celebrate Oktoberfest. This Festbier pours a deep golden hue with a toasty malt backbone, gentle sweetness, and a crisp, clean finish that invites another sip. Balanced and highly drinkable, it captures the festive spirit of Bavarian tradition with a Frenchies twist. ABV 5.6%
2. 2 Halfs Festbier 375ml Can
This Oktoberfest lager is brewed in traditional Munich modern style festbier with German malt and hopped with Perle, Mittelfruh and Tradition. The 2 Halfs festbier has a smooth creamy texture, moderate bitterness with just a hint of toast on the palate. ABV 6.1%
3. Sunday Road Oktoberfest German Pilsner 440ml Can
Brewed with pale pilsner malt for light body and hopped with traditional German hops. ABV 5%
4. Mountain Monk Bavarian Pilsner 375ml Can
brewed with noble German hops and award-winning Voyager Craft Malt from the NSW Riverina. Utilising traditional brewing techniques such as a decoction mash, long boil, staggered chill and lengthy maturation, expect a light straw colour, restrained bitterness, a slightly herbal and Spring grass aroma and taste from our Hallertau hop additions. ABV 5%
5. Stockade Marzen Oktoberfest Beer 375ml Can
Our German style Marzen pours a deep amber with a smooth malt backbone and a crisp, clean finish.
Notes of toasted bread, caramel, and a touch of noble hop spice. Originally brewed for Oktoberfest, this lager is made for good times, loud cheers, and long nights! ABV 5.6%
6. Mountain Monk Dunkel Weizen 375ml Can
Brewed for festive times! Our traditional dark wheat beer is a malt driven joy, utilising a decoction mash with German grain. Expect flavours of banana bread, honey and caramel, along with a nut brown colour, to match your favourite lederhosen outfit … or your racing doxy dachshund! ABV 4.8%
