Interesting taste that grows on you
The first few sips of this beer can at times put people off but the taste grows on you as you take more sips. The type of beer is not your typical type of beer you'll find in Australia. I'd have it again myself. Very smooth drink, full of flavour.

The best smoked beer
This is the best smoked beer Ive ever tasted - very smooth but full of flavour. I first tried it 10 years ago and have been looking for it in Australia ever since.

No peat was used in the making of this beer
Great smokey flavour, almost bacon like. Very drinkable. Smoked over beechwood rather than peat, which gives a less harsh smokiness. Despite the darker malts it is still quite poundable.

If you want to suck charcoal, this is the beer for you. A dark, Smokey , nice sipping (not guzzling) beer at 5.1%. Very peaty, but luckily I love peat. I’d enjoy one or two for a switch

Excellent
A classic rauchbier that ticks all the boxes. Nice and smoky with meat and malt notes. A great traditional type beer
