Hopsmith is a 'West Coast' style IPA and all about the hops. Triple dry-hopped, the all American grown hop varieties are allowed to shine with citrus, pine, fruity notes and a nice dry, bitter finish.

Consistently excellent drop
Purchased on the similarity in taste to Meantime IPA made in London which was my favoured drop whilst living there.

Tried on recommendation
Tried it as it was recommended by a friend. Def not the most exciting IPA I've ever tasted, but worth a try at least once

Looking forward to trying others
First brew I tried from Akasha. Nice IPA, pretty well balanced but overhyped in my opinion. Have definitely tried better IPA's Would love to try more from this brewery to up the star rating.

Hopsmith IPA
Solid IPA but on reputation I was hoping for more. Quite pronounced bitterness which I felt was a touch unbalanced. Would like to try this fresh from a keg. 3.5/5

One of my all time favourite IPAs... has so much flavour, the boldness and bite are just awesome!
I know it sounds cliche, but "do yourself a favour!!" :)
