Coconspirators The Pastry Chef Caramel Stout
Brewery: CoConspirators Brewing Company
Format: 355ml Can
The pastry chef has raided the sweets cabinet to brew up some dark decadence. A pastry stout reminiscent of a salted caramel slice. Showcasing 6 different malts to provide roast, chocolate, biscuit and lactose for that creamy mouthfeel. Now for the fun: aromatic cacao nibs from East Timor, a sprinkling of Himalayan salt and natural caramel added into the fermentor to get your mouth watering. Weighing in a 8.3% this liquid dessert with its Sweet biscuit, caramel and rich chocolate flavours will tantalise your tastebuds . Life is short, drink dessert first.
WHAT OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
Delicious caramel and chocolate flavours - really tasty stout. Easy drinking
a big dessert stout, but still easy to drink
texture spot on, rich and thick, dark in colour with creamy off white head. All the pastry stout flavours there, chocolate, caramel, salt, cinnamon, but not too overpowering to drink despite the 8.3%ABV.
This was brewed for Gabs festival, and I'm so glad they released it. One of the best pastry stouts. Loads of caramel and choc
All things considered, co-conspirators have nailed this. Perfectly sweet, but not too sweet. Stouty like the best of them. And while it's strong, the small size of the can mean it's a perfect drink overall.
And oh my lord that aroma! I let the can remain in the house for a few days so I could continue to have a whiff every now and then!
