A beer with a complexity which comes from the use of six different varieties is layered to give notes of chocolate, coffee and general roasted goodness they continue. On and on. And on. There's a healthy addition of oatmeal that lends the beer a full bodied experience along with a velvet like texture which works in harmony with a beer of this calibre.

Great oatmeal stout
Loved this stout.
Great flavour, perfect for winter.

Lovely oatmeal stout
I'm a big fan of Grifter, and this oatmeal stout is a cracker, with well-balanced flavours, great texture, and a name that makes it hard to ignore.
It also offers a 'sensible' ABV, so you can drink a few of these without falling over.

Baby’s first stout
First stout I’ve ever tried and I loved it! I usually drink sour beers with some funky flavours, and loved the flavour of this stout.
Really nice molasses/brown sugar/coffee flavour without being sweet.

Solid Stout with Character
Dark and roasty, impressive dark tan head, it's a stout that does the job. Not too sweet, hints of salty-coffee bitterness, and it does fill the mouth with real deep malt and packs a punch.

Good 3*
Roasted malt and brine nose and flavours. Smooth thickened mouthfeel. Dry brine finish and linger. Espresso and some dark fruit late. Close but missing something to make it great.
