Gulden Draak Classic Dark Red Tripel 10.5% ABV

Such an impressive symbol that has been around for more than 6 centuries requires an equally impressive beer. Like the dragon at the top of the city, Gulden Draak has been one of the world's best beers for years. It is a dark tripel, which in itself makes it an exceptional beer, but the complex taste with notes of caramel, roasted malt and coffee makes it unique.

For the secondary fermentation use is made of a wine yeast that determines the unparalleled taste and that ensures the long-term taste evolution. The older the beer gets, the more complex the aromas and the fuller the taste and colour become. The beer is a dark, ruby red, with aromas of sweet, lightly roasted malt and coffee. The taste and mouthfeel is full, with hints of chocolate and caramel, with a long and bittersweet finish.

Gulden Draak 9000 Quadruple 10.5% ABV

The ever-growing success of the unsurpassed Gulden Draak Classic (a dark red tripel) is built upon with the 9000 Quadruple.

The new recipe, based on four times more malt, gives the 9000 Quadruple a deep golden amber colour and a slightly fruity aroma. Together with a soft and slightly sweet taste, this provides a beautifully rounded bouquet with notes of dried fruit. Just like the other specialty beers from Brouwerij Van Steenberge, Gulden Draak 9000 Quadruple is a high fermentation beer with secondary fermentation. For the secondary fermentation use is made of a wine yeast that not only contributes to the unparalleled taste but also ensures a long-term shelf life with taste evolution.

Gulden Draak Dragon's Egg 330ml capacity

The power of the Gulden Draak (Gilded Dragon in English) shines most brightly when served in its own unique glass, a mysterious dragon egg resting on the strength of a boulder. A small dragon has been lasered onto the bottom of each glass; this etching keeps the fine head of foam from dissipating too quickly.
