-
Dark Chocolate
More bitter and less sweet than other Browns. Like 85% dark chocolate compared to dairy milk.

Maredsous 8 Brune - Belgium
(Brown Trappist Ale- double)
Kind of hard to see where double ends, and quadrupel begins! Alcohol is prominent in both smell and taste, definitely some banana in here, with dark fruit, and figs. Something nice I can't quite put my finger on is there as well, but can't pick it.. Wonderful stuff!
Head does fall off a bit quickly, I think. -
Top quality Belgian Brune
Classic malty brune with a generous head and a subtle hint of sourness. Reasonably priced too.
