WHAT OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
Superb for a traditional Belgian Stew
This is one of the recommended beers to use in a traditional Belgian stew, "Stoofvlees"! Yum!
This beer was best when still very cold
From Belgium (I'm seeing a pattern here!) is a Trappistes Rochefort beer.
Again made from malted barley and at 9.2% alc. Phew!
Poured nicely with a pleasant mild aroma. Light brn colour in glass and an average head that stayed on.
First taste; "creamy, again". Second sip; "yep, it's nicer with a mouthful".
Suddenly it was finished!
This beer was best when still very cold due to its creamness. Pity it didn't get that chance...yum
A lovely complex well balance dark beer.
History in a bottle
Tastes like hundreds years of trial and error, has made this very refined brew.
It is just not the ten but will definitely tickle the palate
